Construction and building materials have long been an interest to me. I've always found myself paying attention to the formation of structures we build and the detail of ornament. Wherever I go I'm drawn to plaster finishes and their use alongside other materials. From volunteering in Tajikistan to learning about earthen plasters in Japan these photos are a notebook of details and materials I've enjoyed while working and travelling around the world.
